Conrad and Milton and Ron
Rick and Marvin and Herm
Don and Jack and Wayne
and whatzhisname who was
broke a lot but borrowed
his way to friendship
They were friends and men
whose lives were taken by
the then vicious enemies of
The United States of America
I honor and salute each one
Wow! You know many are eager to write a tribute, honor, and remember, but your write puts much into perspective, brings a touch of reality to the reader. It's like when you visit the wall with all the soldiers names inscribed, you see a name and try to envision a face to go with that name...your write presents the same affect, lingers on one's mind and heart. Very touching my friend, you've hit a homerun with this one...bravo!
