Breath of Season

Embracing time' sigh I feel it drift..
The lull of spirit clinging to breeze
Of autumn, and hear its soft reprise
Dancing upon the changing wind.

Leaves...tumbled confusion
Caught in the breath of season
Flow within nature's reason...
My winter's faith in fallen brilliance.

I reach to catch one falling whisper
But it dances away... into the wind,
To soar upon zephyrs and then descend
Upon another memory waiting to fly.

I fall into the moment, deeply
Filling my soul with a memory
Of dancing wind, so fresh and free,
I breathe in my thoughts, my dreams.

O breath of season, let me always drift
Within the spirit of your dancing wind...
Let the muted shades of my confusion
Be washed away by your brilliance.
Speak to me in timely whisper
And give me wings to fly.
Let life and love touch me deeply....
Grant me your blessing... bless me with dreams.

You and I are on the same page today...;-)

Soliloquy....Heh

As ever... your dreamy poetry is of the highest caliber and impact, and the love you describle so metaphorically.... is beyond breadth and depth..

oh my ... first let me say, you did the form justice...it is perfect. But regardless of the form you may or may not have used, this is pure poetry...so beautiful that it could well be a prayer...exceptional and lovely my friend.

I love this "tracking" system so I get to be the first to comment on this masterpiece. A great poem by a great poet using the form developed by an equally great poet. I love it Myrna.
Love,
Marcia
