The Journey and a New Beginning 8/10/2005 6:15:43 PM
and what a journey it is... How desperately I had been wanting to move for a long time…yet afraid to do for lack of finances. To quit my job in Georgia (early retirement), sell my house and some furniture, to clear/clean out the house, pack, find a new place to live, find another job, move me and Bear (my dog) all by myself!!! The thought of it is overwhelming.
I had traveled to California in July 2004 for inspiration for book 2, and it called to me ever since after returning to Georgia.
In California I had finally found where I belong.
On May 8th this year I found myself in a space of total peace. Back on the internet looking at the place I kept going back to, even though I kept saying I would not live there (personal reasons)…I also did not want to live in an apartment again. I so much wanted to be in “my house”. But then I was drawn to look again at an apt complex I had seen before in Napa and suddenly “knew” that is where I wanted to live and instantly knew I would live in Napa and move in Sept.
I went to Napa for a week to start preparations and oh my! I love it there.
So, since then I have been in the midst of all the preparations…
Oh so much to do, but I have felt a peace about myself…because I know God has put me on this path and He is guiding the process.
I am looking forward to the end of this part of my journey, and the New Beginning I am about to embark on…
