Yesterday's journey... Friday, September 7th…Last day on a temporary job that was to turn into permanent position with a great company. Unfortunately because of the economy the sales department I was working for as Admin Sales Analyst decided they needed to restructure and decided to do away with this position by farming out the work to others already permanent employees. I am grateful for the four months there and for the great people I worked with. It was a good job and I would have liked to stay. However, I know that when one door closes another opens. When they told me their decision I was amazingly at peace about it, and continue to feel a sense of serenity.
Even now, though it could be very easy to panic, become fearful and anxious, I am at peace and joyful at the thought that God has something wonderful for me just around the corner. I have been feeling that he has a new direction for me and I am eager to find out what it is and where that path will take me.
On this same day, after I got home, around 5:30 I was standing on my front porch and suddenly, what I thought was one of the large underground bees/wasps came hovering about 2 feet from my face, I suddenly realized was a hummingbird....I have never seen hummingbirds around my house. It hovered for several seconds before it turned and flew off. My research suggests it may have been an Anna’s Hummingbird. It was one of those magical moments in life.
My heart and spirit smiled at this Amazing Magical Gift God sent me just at the right time.
