Joy of Inspiration...of KNOWING Life's Purpose 3/4/2007 11:14:24 AM
Today, I realized My Life's Purpose WOW! Last night I watched, agian, the Oprah special about her Academy in South Africa for young girls. I listened to the young girls tell their stories, express their feelings, but mostly I looked into their faces, their eyes and could see the beautiful souls within them. THEY inspired me.
Also, last night I watched a PBS special about John Denver. While listening to his music, hearing about his life, his dreams...I was again inspired by HIM.
Then I read an article in Guidepost magazine about Kelee Katillac, how she came out of her depression by her creativity and now helping others to better their lives in the same way...HER story also inspired me.
Today being my special day each week to pray, rest, and WRITE, I went to my page at Powerful Intentions to edit MY...Life's Purpose, Vision, Values, Intentions...
I thought about them again and my soul exploded, by body got goosebumps with excitement as my heart and mind raced with renewed wonder at it all. And here they are...
My Life’s Purpose
To help/encourage/inspire others to believe in themselves, to become like butterflies to spread their wings and fly, to live their dreams, to give back to the world, to pay it forward, to make the world a better place.
My Values
I value my relationship with God, with his son Jesus, and with family/friends. I value the joy of meeting new people. My values include honesty, integrity, kindness, loyalty, joyful spirit, laughter, loving.
My Vision
To live my Life's Purpose. I see my books in book stores, movie(s) of the stories, speaking engagements, I have awesome people in my life who are trustworthy, loyal, supportive, encouraging, and spirit filled. I see opportunities to encourage others, and to pay it forward.
To find a way to offer others (especially children and older people) who love the story of Little One to create an artistic visual of their favorite place/part of the story. To then select several creations to be on display, to be part of hardcover editions of the story. To have music created to go with the story.
My Powerful Intentions
My powerful intentions are: draw financial resources into my life, to have quality time to work on my writing, to attract into my life the people (i.e. agent, lawyers, publisher, and movie producer) in order to truly work and live my creative life. These intentions are so I can use the gifts God gave me (writing and talking) in order to live my Life's Purpose.
