New Year 2007 and Winter...

My thoughts, and wishes for you.
It is just minutes away from the New Year, in the midst of Winter.

Winter is cold, snow, ice, slush, grey cloudy skies…mostly for those in the northern states. Since I am originally from Michigan the memory lingers.

Although I have been living in other places for many years now, there is the occasional snow and ice for short periods of time. We don't get much snow or ice here in Georgia, but when we do it does not last long.

I see beauty in winter, and love pictures of winter scenes. I love freshly fallen snow, ice laden barren winter trees, and the sparkle of it all when the sun peaks through. I believe in considering winter as a time for rest, reflection, and renewal...and oh, thinking about the joy of blossoming in spring time.

With the New Year, let us begin writing a new and better life…for ourselves and others.
Let us dream and believe BIG. Let us create peace and joy, happiness and laughter for all. Let us all do our part to show encouragement, support, and love for all. Let us make this winter and all 2007 the beginning of a New and Better World.
