I am walking the path to a new and wonderful future. Tonight I caught the Joyce Meyer show. Her talk was based on Genesis 12:1 The Lord said to Abram: “Go forth from the land of your kinsfolk and from your father’s house to a land that I will show you.” And…12: 4 Abram went as the Lord directed him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.
Her message from the words in Genesis was something like this…but remember these are my words as I cannot remember how she put it. This is how it spoke to me, in my situation. She did say you just don't walk out on a spouse or others in your life because you may be having issues, as it is important to try to heal those relationships.
If you are in a place that does not inspire you, brings you down, which sucks out your spirit…you need to leave that place, to move on to wherever it is God calls you. He will guide you to the place where you will be inspired, encouraged, to be truly alive – where you can be the light and salt to others as He wants you to be. Follow the path God is leading you on. Use what gifts he has given you. Ask Him every day to show you the way. Open your soul and spirit, your heart, to hear Him. Let joy and love fill you to overflowing, because you know that God loves you so much and wants to bless you beyond what you could dream for yourself.
