A Taxi Cab Vignette
2/25/2006 1:01:15 PM

She was desperate...
I picked her up around 2 p.m. last night... She seemed desperate. She was also drunk, but not that drunk that she didn't know what she was doing.

It was a midtown bar to a midtown hotel job. I looked her over before she got in, so that I could ascertain if she would be a problem. Barfing and passing out are two problems that come into a cab driver's mind on a friday night as he warily eyes his passengers. She wasn't too drunk so I picked her up. It took me awhile to figure out which hotel she was going to... There are just too many packed into midtown... Like jaws waiting to swallow up out of town money. There's no end to New York's voracious appetite for the buck, really.

I got her to her hotel alright. But before she got out of the cab she offered me oral sex. As you know it's every man's weakness. I asked her why she wanted to do me. She said, "I don't know. I just do."

Somehow she then ended up in the front seat. She groped me and took my hand and put it on her breast. As I said, I was in a mood. But thank God I got control of the reins. I told her it wasn't the right thing to do. She was drunk and I was tired. I also saw that she had a wedding band on that she had switched from her ring finger to her middle finger. I guess she was married and giving her unsuspecting husband the finger. You never know where you stand with women these days.

Anyway, to make a long story short, it turned out that she had never given head before and was clueless as to how to begin. Then it dawned upon me that her husband had probably been cheating on her for that very reason. Married men can get truly desperate when they're not serviced probably, somewhat like an old car, they can get rusty.

I told her it wasn't simple and it took practice. It's all about style, and a professional does it best. Though I admitt that there are some great amateurs out there. If done correctly I told her it's the equivalent of a religious experience.

She left the cab and I had to smile. I was happy that I said no to temptation, and happy that the night was finally over.

I made it home in one piece, and I made a profit.
