They say that the eyes are the windows of the soul, and I tend to agree. If you find yourself suddenly captivated by a woman's eyes (not just her legs, breasts, or whatever body part is your preference) then that means two hearts might be joined as one, that her breath might enter yours, and the perfect moment might be at hand. That seems meaningful to me at this point in my life. Lust is just not my thing anymore - not that I still don't have some - but it's my heart that is seeking fulfillment now. The sands of time are running quickly through the hour glass of my life, and like the poet said many years ago, "Drink to me only with thine eyes, and I will pledge with mine, or leave a kiss but in the cup and I'll not look for wine."
Yes, the soul seeks a higher intoxication, it seeks for the divine expression of its own natural grace and purity.
