I was doing a search on taxi blogs and ran into a genealogy of drivers who were killed doing their job. It almost happened to me. I was attacked by a knife crazed junkie and his buddy. I was green back then, didn't realize how evil the world could be. Now I know better, and if I have to refuse a ride just to survive than that's what I'll do. Never mind the TLC. I've gotta survive, so that I can live on and watch the superficial world wind down to oblivion.
