The Tape confirms some of my worst fears, though Most of my readership may consider myself a Conspiracy alarmist.
The Tape was obviously an orchestrated Speech, released for political reasons at a specific time before the American Election. It was crafted by an excellent Speechwriter, cognizant of American mentality. Herein is my rationale:
1)It was for an American audience, as it lacked the specific 'keywords' designed to incite an Islamic audience.
2) All criticism of Bush behavior was engineered to protray the helplessness of Bush to affect the events in question, automatically generating support of Bush due to seemingly unfair allegations. Anyone who has studied the Bush administration knows there are allegations which could have been made, which the American people would not have been so forgiving of Bush.
3) Osama bin Laden was skillfully portrayed as mildly stupid in speech and thought patterns, though All know he is not; this placing him on a level plateau with George W. Bush, and his poor speech gaffs and ideas.
4) Osama mentions none of the real failures of the Bush administration in their prosecution of the War on Terror. It makes little reference to the level of lawlessness and violence currently existent in Iraq. It specifically does not mention the Bush intelligence failures which allowed him to escape, while still remaining in contact with his network.
The Tape was an attempt to gain support for George W. Bush among the American Electorate, and the crafting of the Tape and Speech had to come from a polished Speechwriter, who knew current American political trends. It was not written by Someone hidden in a Cave somewhere.
The Tape enforces my suspicion that Osama bin Laden has been a paid Agent Provocateur of the House of Said since the early 1970s. The House of Saud has the greatest interest in the preservation of the Bush presidency, for the promotion of their interests aboard. This author thinks they simply pulled the 'boggeyman' out for one last show, and Osama bin Laden can be found in Saudi Arabia. lgl
