No matter how former President Jimmy Carter is remembered by historians, his greatest legacy was made after he left Office. Jimmy and Rosalind Carter has done more for the poor, the homeless, and crisis stricken people of America and the world than anyone I have knowledge of. He has rode the ups and downs of the recovery here in New Orleans from the very beginning to this day. Not even the Pope can claim such a long and compassionate legacy.
