new ones up the ass.... 12/7/2003 2:14:31 AM
...so many new ones it is hard to count but I would go with one. A non-fictional horror which is an anniversary piece.
I have been writing without end and been working on a new essay that I managed to get done earlier today. It was one that took me a while to type up because it is one of those that is darkly personal for me but I knew I had to put out there -- it is right up there with Past Scars, this time I take one into the details of a car accident that I managed to walk away from. I was actually thrown over the car. The essay is up on a few places but one can see the true formatted forms up on the journal at diary-x and up on AuthorsDen for those who read my work over here. I once again show my non-fictional prowless, it had not been since I wrote The Cabbie Homicide: Oct 13, 1993, which is a year ago on June 2003. And I am writing off the strength of Bloodletting. So with that being written, the new essay is titled Accident Revisited. It is a short one but one that does have the same kind of punch as what Library of Bones and its sequels has. I can say this -- I have to thank Monette for opening a few doors for me, and the adaptation of Bloodletting has some power behind it. Be looking for a story by Ceara Jaen Baxter in there as well -- I referred Ceara over to Monette as well. I don't know when the street date for her book would be but I will let her talk more about that. But going back to the essay -- I added more dialog to this one but at the same time it would have the elements of the fiction as in it has a strong descriptive element that I made my own.
