I am looking to compile a dark-nonfiction anthology -- creatively written non-fiction. I will not take erotica of any kind for this, and don't even submit any. Nothing personal there, I am looking for the non-fictional pieces to be written in a nature that I would have to say to read a Reader's Digest to get an idea of what I am looking for. The darker the non-fiction pieces and more creatively written it is -- the better. I will be setting up an email address for submissions, and when I have the new computer -- I will be putting them together for the publisher that I already have in my choosing. One of my essays I am already going to contribute to this and I won't be adapting them either. If someone is looking for some ideas of what I have in mind -- do some research about the true crimes from your area or a freak accident that happened in the area. The word ranges I am looking for in a submission is 1400 to 7800 words, and the key range that would be a promised slot are those that are in the range of 2000 -- 3000 words easy. If one would like some photography submitted with their work, I would be glad to use it for the anthology. I came up with the idea when I was talking with Monette; I want to make it where if someone is serious about their work -- they would be willing to do something of this nature. I am trying to make the book at least 320 pages in length and covering two disks, sort of a dark chapbook so to speak. It would be similar to a book that I had read a few years ago, Book Of Dead Things by Tina L. Jens. No writers trying to be Poppy Z. Brite clones, or slash writers.   The idea for this anthology came about from reading back the short story that I wrote titled Accident Revisted.
