The Statue Rated: PG Word count: (6,170 Words) Genre: General (Horror) Relatives: Rod Serling's work
There is kiddies, the story titled The Statue. I wrote this one out of a lot of taunting that I got from another who called my work purple. Where I looked at his chapter and it is weak, so where I say this before he goes and does a backhanded comment. He just woke a sleeping giant when it came to writing this short story. Just saying the titles are creative, then for that little smart assed reader who urinated all over the story Wasteland -- I want to see him try and urinate on this one. Terry Vinson and J.M. Heluk called this one a masterpeice saying it took them back to Serling's work, and this is a departure from my style of horror that I am known for. From These Eyes Of Abomination was the set up for something of this nature. This one can be open for debate of it being either fanfiction or original fiction -- it is more original than anything but just the way I presented it was in a tradition that Rod Serling would write it. So if the family of Rod Serling is finding their way to this one. This is my way of saying thank you for how much Rod inspired me as a horror writer. My approach of writing came from him and H.P. Lovecraft.
