reflection on sudden demise of 13 people in an accident here in Chicago.

As a horror writer, I write of fears that the reader does not want to face -- but when something of horror non-fiction happens. The nightmares would always be there, I can relate to that in the sense of being stabbed five times as well as being hit by a car.It is a chilling thing when something like that happens. If anyone who survived the accident, I will make my email available if they would want to talk. Being that is in the local news here, it is one of the most chilling things to happen. All of those people there for a party -- they never seen it coming. The horror that takes them to their grave -- and this is what gives a movie like Final Destination a chilling preminition. Death is coming as the saying goes, and this would be one of those cases. I cannot begin to relate how something like this can really get in the mind of people but the families who they left behind, the nightmares for them had only begun and that horror movie playing in their mind of the collapse. In my observation of this accident -- I think this would be one of those things they will talk about for years to come. College kids going to a party and ending up expiring in an accident they had known nothing about. Death is always uselss, but it is part of that circle that plays within the human condition. Mortality -- a theme that is often played around with in the horror genre, one theme that I play a lot with in my own writing but now it is playing around with the horror theory within the passages of nightmares. The thoughts are what stand in the varied mind as which they were written -- as wondering if some of them know of their own death. Richard Ramerez said this, "No one really knows when their own death will be." Shocking enough that came from a serial killer.
