A short Nature post...

April Showers…

You know what they say.

About flowers and May,

But what if it has been raining,

Since long before April,

Our rivers and streams are straining,

Nowhere further for water to go,

Our yards and streets are swimming pools,

But what is the good of constant complaining…?

Ed,

GIT TO HIGHER GROUND! TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN!

Mebbe someone will hear your complaints and their life saved because of your words. :)

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Sounds like a few lesson from Noah's Ark are in order:
If You Can’t Fight or Flee – Float

When the Doo-Doo Gets Really Deep,
Don’t Just Sit There Complaining,
- Shovel

Always Remember,
The Ark
Was Built by Amateurs,
And the Titanic
Was Built by Professionals

And
Never Forget,
That Everyone on Earth
Is in the Same Boat

It isn't really Spring here yet either, Ed. The birds are not nesting the ducks are paired but are not mating and the feral cats are not yet wailing. I suspect we will have another cold snap before winter takes it's final curtain call. No point in complaining, nature is a force beyond our control.
Take care,
Sherry

Good point Ed, do you think the May flowers will ever have a chance this year? Henry
