If it were a contest,

I would do my best,

To say that I like green trees,

Over and above snow covered white trees,

Our leaves are all abloom, to Nature I am on my knees…

I may complain sometime in the not so distant future,

About the heat getting to me again,

But for all intents and purposes, air-conditioning is a suture,

Cooling me off while I write in my den…

Hopefully all in the north are seeing now green,

After a horrendous winter of mostly white,

The grasses and trees are wonderful in my scene,

We’ve made it through the winters blight,

Now to Nature & God a prayer I do recite…
