The Life and Times of Bobby Banana

Bobby Banana was hanging out,

With a bunch of his old friends.

They were all bananas,

From their stems to their ends.

Bobby was becoming yellowed,

And no longer felt close knit

So Bobby bought a banana boat,

And that Banana split. 

He sailed down Del Monte way,

Where he met a girl named Carlita.

Together they lived on the Dole,

Bobby Banana and his Chiquita.

Bobby learned to be a baker

And soon his fame was widespread.

He opened his own bakery,

Famous for Bobby’s Banana Bread.

Bobby’s Banana Bread,

Is a delicacy and a treat.

It comes with Bobby’s “Peel of Approval”,

So you know it’s good to eat.

Bobby’s business was fruitful,

Making bread every day.

And Bobby Banana lived to a ripe old age,

Until he slipped away.
