A record... surely!

Snow Records Lose Here! Seeing an all-time snow cut for a mountain road ends my bragging days about how deep the snow was when I was a boy. The photo appears to have been taken at a mountainous pass in Europe or Russia. Wherever, it is a place I have no desire to live or visit during the snow season. How the native survive is an appropriate question. No, I don't have the measurement of how deep the cut was then. I will thank those who want to make a guess. Let is snow, let it snow, let it snow--- elsewhere! F William Broome 2007

I know we don't come close to this awesome picture but a new snowfall record was set yesterday in southern Louisiana...LOL And as pretty as it is I am still glad we get it so seldom..lol

I'm thinking around 30 feet. Snow is nice to look at, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere near it. Happily, I am in Florida! ~ Sara

Bill, I'd estimate about 36 feet. Brrrrr. In DC once we had about two feet and I lost my car for a week. -gene.
