Finally!--Spring has arrived in NE Pennsylvania! A great time to read your beautiful poem.
Each verse in this one could stand alone. A vibrant poem to awaken the senses to Spring. Even now, I can hear the frogs singing through my open window. As they gather in strength and numbers, they will be somewhat of a nuisance with the racket they make, but still, they are a signal that Spring is here and I welcome them.
I love this one, Regis, and will be saving it to read again.

"Across pale blue skies
Skeins of wild geese fly northward
Hear their plaintive calls"
This is my favorite in this delicate string, Regis.
I can almost smell the daffodills. We had an unexpected freeze here in the South as well and many of the new buds are frostbitten.

What a beautiful poem you have penned here. The imagery here is awesome and I can feel the warm air beginning to stream in. This has been a wild winter here in New York too. Last week it was 70 degrees and today it is 35 degrees and windy.

I believe spring is a great season for all us poets/writers. There is something about spring that brings out the best in us.

WOW!!!!!! you should had write this one on rice paper with a brush, wearing a kimono, on a lacqueered table sorrounded by freshly cut Lotus flowers and a cup of aromatic te in front of you.
The water in the garden giving the peaceful background music to weave the haikus like a strand of pearls.

super haiku Reg, to bring in the season, of course it's kind of cold around here today. There are quite a few of those canadian geese around here, i love to see them fly and land. Guess what, the other day out in the field I saw the turkey vultures and the geese hanging together, seems the vulture were staring down the geese hehe

Happy Spring, Regis, the sap is flowing from the trees here in Colorado, when we hear the frogs, it is too late for the sap run...spent yesterday in my old gold-mining gambling town of Cripple Creek Colorado, autographed some books for women at the mercantile around the old-fashioned 50-gallon wooden pickle barrel with pickles floating, gave out some wooden nickels and had a few shots of whiskey, shooed the burros, descendants of the 1800 gold mining burros of Cripple Creek, (they roam free on the sidewalks in this casino town) away from the whiskey barrel planter of flowers. They love to eat the daisies and bray Doris Day spring tunes...be well, Regis...the pics you email me are always appreciated...
