Observing a spider in the early morning

Poem Artwork

Silk and light double glades of beauty on a wire of thin
I cannot help but wonder how long it took him to spin
this singular string of intricate structure, this web

Early morning sips, the air brushes my rousing cheek
as the sun yawns out I observe softly, but do not speak
this natural fiber of ancient wisdom still hasn't ebbed

its incandescent fire blaze is a mirage, a shaft of light
a remnant of a spider still attached from yester night
this arachnid wanderer of dawn by morning's celeb,

has captured my imagination and my inquisitive mind
this creature of weave has me, vaguely entwined...

It takes a true sense of observation to write a poem about a fragile spider and its web. Beautifully rendered.

The spiders are the most amazing creature!!! I've often admired how they can build their webs so precisely. Very talented indeed!

Although I do find the science and ability of spiders fascinating I still have some type of instilled fear or loathing of them. Still, you capture their uniqueness well...

Spider webs are indeed a marvel of engineering and very beautiful. Especially when early morning moisture beads up on them like little adamants. Thanx 4 sharing. Peace.... r

The delicacy and design of the spider's web is magical and mysterious indeed, a source of wonder and beauty as in this poem.
