My day Juanita is giving up smoking, I am looking for my crash helmet. Only joking, I know how hwrd it is so i'll support her in her quest.
Cooking an apple pie aand a curry. One day I'll win the lottery and I'll hire someone to cook. 47 years of kitchens is starting to weary me. Not that i don't enjoy cooking, I do, Just need a break sometimes.
I suppose cooking is like writing in a way, I strive to bring pleasure to others, my reward? A smile.
Hopefully a quiet night tonight. Stephanie is staying over at Cassie's, Jeffery is sleeping over at harley's, leaving only Ashley at home with us. Wish we could have a sleep over. If that sounds like I'm jealous, I am.
I have been somewhat pleasantly surprise at the reception my poetry has received. Seems all of my readers have enjoyed them very much, and I have received some very positive feedback.
It does seem strange that very few read articles and short stories on Authors Den. As a newcomer to story writing, It would be nice to get some constuctive reviews. Hey! they may not think that it is very good, but I won't know until I'm told how to make it better. Will I?
Oh well, back to the kitchen, still got Pappadums and Saffron Rice to cook. Now where did i put the Saffron?
