Since the last post, I had a week-long family emergency trip. And a friendly writers group get-together -- just a few writers involved, but we all get along so well, it's great.
I got a few submissions sent out. No news on any past submissions, except for an illustration poem of mine soon to appear in Beyond Centauri.
I have been working on some short stories, but they just seem lifeless. My brain has been scrambled. Will try again tonight, and tomorrow, and so on.
I have been trying to sort through my archive of digital art and get them more organized, so I can send more out. Problem is, the zines I've been working with for ages mostly want black & white art. My best graphics are full-color, but the full-color markets seem out of reach, either scorning digital work or requiring mass-media styles or weird submission formats. Will keep trying.
