Hi. The July/Aug double issue of Analog is now in stores (Barnes & Noble, etc). My story "Jimmy the Box" is on page 126. Being a double issue is good because it will be on the shelf for 2 months, but not-so-good because it costs more than usual ($5.99 I think).
I went to the store to find the Fortean Times, found myself instead ... a pleasant surprise.
No other news right now. A few rejections. I just tiraded in an email about how screwed up the world appears to be, and how the internet is a total glut of madness. But in theory we should each be able to find a thousand fans, and carve our own little niches.
I captured an intense dream this morning, but it's not technically a story (darn formula-obsessed world), so I don't know what to do with it. Force it to be a story, just because those are the rules? No. We should be open to more than that. Right?
