Sometimes it seems like just a few minutes between entries, yet there are whole weeks in there.
I've done a few more book cover projects, plus a gruesome illustration for an anthology named Hungur. I delivered the ms for the "Appalling Limericks" chapbook. I probably sold a short story to Analog: the editor wants to use it but doesn't know if the schedule will allow it.
I got the Deluxe Writers Market from B&N and found about 30 new markets for my work; and a few I had just forgotten about. Already sent out a few submissions. The book comes with a one year subscription to their website, which I found had some handy new tools. Overall, it's just a necessary expense every now & then.
I did get to Worldcon, and to conJecture, and even remembered to follow up with all my contacts from those events, eventually.
My submission count for 2006 is about 134. That includes stories, poems & illustrations. Yet sometimes a whole month will go by where I forget to send anything out -- more likely I'm in a crunch on something else and don't have the energy to spare.
