The past week has been a blur of activity.
I finished 3 new mazes and sent them off to GreatMazes.tk (which hosts a few other mazes of mine - fun stuff!)
I have been editing specs and documents for a christian computer game. I'm not really into the material, though. A real struggle with this one.
Out of the blue, I had a new horror story come out: "Never Meant to Kill Anyone" (1775 words). All I was doing was peeling carrots, and there it was! I did two quick edits and got it submitted already.
Sent out a few poetry submissions. Responded to a heap on online ads looking for editors, writers, etc. Hardly anyone EVER replies to my efforts.
I sold a flash fiction piece to Dreams & Nightmares, and a 1000-word collaboration to Nocturnal Ooze. Pizza money someday.
I received a new short film script for doctoring, plus a request for a series of 4 20-minute black & white crime noir scripts set in the 1940's. Meanwhile, I have been developing an indie tv series property that keeps getting wilder the more I mess with it.
I was trying to put the final DVD together for my short film "Tech Support Blues", but now I have TWO themes songs and don't like EiTHER of them!! Grr.
That's a pretty good baseline of what I was doing in the week or two before this blog. Hang on for more.
