Trying to create more and consume less -- the eternal battle.

I sent off about 5 stories and 20 poems in the last 7 days. Got a quick NO from Baen's Universe, a pair of poems rejected by Pedestal, a few photos rejected by a stock agency, and no good news at all. I do have a new poem at Astropoetica this week, if I already mentioned it then oops.

I was walking around the block around lunchtime and had a bunch of time travel gags go through my head. When I got home, I found the common thread and banged out a 2,200-word tale, pure paranoid time travel fun. Out of the ether.

My creative blog is rolling along, with a scary/funny account of my adventures at yesterday's Raiders/Chargers game. A sci-fi guy at a football game, really.

Writers life continues here ... a new stat analysis shows that I have almost no human visitors on my main writing site ( http://tales.scvs.com ) so I've been trying to come up with a plan to fix that. It's hard to get people interested, harder to get them to stick around. Hmm.

Otherwise, working my spreadsheets, looking for stories/poems stuck at dead markets, stuff like that. Joined a few more Yahoo writers groups, not sure what I will ever find.
