Been a while - summer's sloth In talking with some friends the other day, we came to the frightening conclusion that major business has oddly taken on a virus like condition for our societal norms. Although outside of work we talk about freedoms and democracy, duing those times of work, have we seem to have moved into a small totalitarian society with all the trappings? The business workplace is led by one person and that one person's ideals drive the group think at the corporate directors table. From there, a set of secret behaviors are determined by which everyone in the company will be judged, but not told of. The learning of the secret behaviors is spread by fear, since those who do not comply shall be terminated, leaving evertone else to guess at which behavior is was that caused the eliminiation.
