Burdened at work, lacking time to write Been a while since I've posted, but until something becomes a best seller, I need to get a paycheck to satisfy my habits of eating, wanting a house, and pay for a fledgling writing career.
Been working on a collaboartion with a friend of mine, and hopefully, it will be original enough to make a break through. Business jargon has become so pervasive in the workplace, that it seems there is a whole different language in the office. I guess it is the paradigm shift from straight talk to psychobabble, or so it seems. That being said, we'll move on to picking low hanging fruit and put them in my win-win basket, since I will need a breakout meeting with my key contributors to resolve the issue.
And a surprise has been the increasing interest in my Sci-Fi piece that I've been posting into my web site. Almost looks like a following! If you are one of those sneaking a peak, please let me know what you think. Are you coming back, just curious, or is there something there drawing you back for more. If the latter is true, well, I guess it's time to work the edits on this one so it can hit the shelves!
