A Year To Remember 12/22/2007 1:02:25 PM
Wow, what a year! Reflecting back on the original blog that I posted in January, my life started to flash before my eyes. I thought of the countless things that have taken place throughout this past year that either gave me great joy, challenged my walk with Christ or fell somewhere in-between. Clearly, God’s hand has continued to direct my steps and I’m amazed at all that he has done in 2007, although I’m not surprised.
Several months ago, with prompting from the Holy Spirit, I began to see opportunity upon opportunity to draw inspiration from a variety of circumstances and as a result, the “Devotional” Blog page on my website was born. Many of the d-blogs I posted represented either something that was happening in my life or in the life of someone else. I hope these blogs have been and continue to be as much a blessing for you to read as they are for me to share.
As God is wrapping up this year and preparing to launch me into the new adventures of 2008, I realize once again that I am incredibly blessed. If you had asked me three years ago what I would be doing today, I could not have come close to describing the reality that is. In all that 2007 has been, I am also reminded that God’s timing is always perfect and I desire to neither run ahead nor fall behind his timetable.
So, 2008 approaches and I am excited. I know I will be stretched. I know I will grow. And I know that Christ will be there every step of the way.
