Church Service Dynamic: Results in Television Appearance

The trip to San Diego was a nice break from my chilly abode. I left 40 degree weather to enjoy 60-70 degree weather under overcast skies.

If you have never been to San Diego--it is a huge area. I traveled from North County (I stayed in Oceanside) to the downtown area. In the past three days I have traveled over 600 miles. Sheesh!

Although I had not picked out a passage to share, I did talk about some of the content from the last part of my book--animal souls and how the opinions were formed about this topic. The church service included a guided meditation where people looked at what animals they feared and what those animals represent to them AND what other areas of their life feel that way. Next, I talked about animal symbolism throughout history and religion. We then had some people share their meditations and insights.

The workshop was attended by people from around the county. After questions and discussions I finally hit the road after 5pm! It was a long day since I left for the church at 9am. However, I was asked to come back and film a television show in January. The show is filmed at the Cox Cable studios in El Cajon, California. Since I'll be doing events down this way again in January--it fits into my schedule perfectly!

I am heading home this morning via the Palm Springs area. I hope to meet with my author buddy, Joyce Spizer. If you have not read any of her books--you should! I LOVE her Harbour Pointe mystery series.
