Crazy teenagers! 4/29/2008 6:55:31 AM
Have you ever noticed how teenagers, no matter how cold it is outside (I'm talking snow still on the ground), will wear sandals, shorts and skimpy tops the moment the calendar says it's spring? This morning I saw a guy riding his bike to work. Not unusual for this time of year. He was wearing shorts - and mitts! Why? Because it's zero here in the great city of London and the unseasonably warm weather we had been having has once again vanished. It's spring, the flowers are out, but baby it's cold outside!And some people refuse to acknowledge that. I don't understand it at all. How can any teenager say they're not cold while wearing their sandals, tank tops and shorts, when they are clearly turning blue?
For that matter, when it is raining out and your teenager sees that it's raining out and you hand him/her an umbrella while they are on their way out the door - why don't they use it? What compels them to want to get wet?
If anyone has answers to these questions I'd love to hear them!
