more new material 10/17/2011 7:16:32 PM
Pacione talks about the free material that's 2000-3000 words and the new short story he's shopping around. I have a new freebie out there on http://np1976.codexed.com called Grotesque Wanderings.that's in the 2200 word range so I am willing to let this one go on me. I am also writing a brand new novelette right now that's about 7400 words on it. I am looking to send this off to a small press magazine that takes longer works. The entries on codexed are available as an rss on my blogspot blog found on this address, http://nickolauspacione.blogspot.com and managed to get Issue 13 of the magazine out there and published.
I will have the freebies on Codexed and on here too when I write one that's 3000 words, and when that is done I will have that available on this site too. There is a feature that I had to moderate on a heavy basis because of the problem with people posting libelous things on there, I do have a cbox on the codexed account and that is there for people to interact with me but I can only have 100 messages at a time on there. I had problems with one called ZombieDiva going around saying I am the product of incest when she has a history of bullying. I did a new story on Deviantart.com about the subject because of a former classmate posting on Brian Keene's blog about me -- I had to do a story called The Bully Effect for this reason.
The new story though in progress though is one that I plan to shop around for a few anthologies if they would take a 8000 word story when it's finished -- that is what I am looking at with the finished story there and this is one that I started when my system went down for a little while, and there is a new story in the magazine of mine called Not Your Typical Night Out which is a true story about my car accident I was in back in February of 1996. I wanted to have people read what I was like when I was 18-19 years of age more so when I was 19. Since people are checking out my new Amazon.com storefront -- they got a very in depth biography of me there and that is something I want people to see too. I am also doing a new anthology where I am taking submissions for Gothic Horror only -- the e-mail address is slushpilejunkie(at)aol dot com and the stories must not have any kind of erotic content in it -- no slash fiction period of any kind. I am looking to send the finished anthology to Panic Press' owner as more or less a huge f*** you.
I saw her company go belly up but then again she's another David Boyer and a member of the David Boyer Fan Club -- that means she likes to steal for publicity. I was dealing with one of her ass kissers on goodreads.com and it is something that I would like to see her get hit by a bus than read any of her work.
