SIDNEY THE SNAIL

Sidney the snail was tired

Of moving at a snail’s pace.

So he bought a car,

And learned how to race.

His car was sleek,

Aerodynamic and fast.

Moving at a snail’s pace,

Was a thing of the past.

Instead of a number,

On the side of his door,

He painted a big “S”,

Which had never been seen before.

Sidney entered a race,

And drove up in his “S” car.

He wanted to win this race,

And be a big snail racing star.

The race was run,

And what do you know?

Sidney took the checkered flag,

As the announcer shouted,

“Look at that “Escargot!”
