This is excellent Karla. During the Vietnam war American youth was so against the conflict that when our veterans returned they were not only traumatized by what they did and saw but by the way we dishonored their courage. Excellent piece.

Karla, what they will be like when they come back will be determined how we respond and treat them. It is shameful in this country how some of our vets were treated when they returned home after fighting for their country. Some were even spat upon as killers. And who did the spitting. It wasn't the supporters of our soldiers, but those who marched and looked at them as killers. What a pity this happened. bill
