And dormant they lie in their silos deep,
Tethered steadfast twenty-four seven asleep.
Then one arrogant proud grief-stricken day,
The powers that be launched them away.
From their steel-cased stone-cold graves a few,
Into star-filled mystical midnight skies, they flew.
Speedily they journeyed afar to reach their finale debut;
Then, at long last, they found their targets true .
Red, white, blue, orange, black: many colors aglow,
Lit midnight skies as never before; unveiling quite a show.
When colorful giant mushrooms glowed; we had nowhere to hide;
Cities and most people - never knew, that our planet had died.
Released unwisely, casually, on Mother Nature aglow,
They'd slain 5 billions souls; they didn't even know.
Innocent people were fast asleep in bedroom dreams worldwide,
Betrayed by deceitful two-faced Politicians who had always lied.
Now all that is left of Mother Earth's World-War III,
Is a massive desert of dust, a huge sea of shame.
No plants, no animals, no blue sky to see.
The only Americans left, are those we should blame!

This is so powerful and visual and the ending stanza gave me chills.
