Limericks VIII
This fellow we know as Regis
Doesn’t claim to be like Jesus
He is just a guy
And perhaps that’s why
He writes limericks just to please us
A lady from the city of Paris
Met a man who called himself Harris
It was love at first sight
Until morning light
When Harris left Paris for Charis
I know a young sweetie named Brooke
She’s lovely and she can also cook
But if you turn your back
Her hand’s in your sack
You’ll find out she’s a most able crook
There once was a grouchy old coot
He kept telling the children to scoot
One day they refused
He stood there and mused
As they told him that his points were moot
I’ve met a young lady from France
She’s deadly at throwing the lance
She aims for the heart
Renders it apart
She does all of this with one glance
There once was a grouchy hedgehog
Who lived near a misty old bog
He was a hermit
Until he met Kermit
A frog who thought he was a dog
There once was a man who lived near the sea
He often went there to see what he might see
One day he was shocked
And his world was rocked
When he met a mermaid named Chelsea
I would love to know more about Kermit the frog who thought he was a dog
and why the hedgehog stopped being a hermit. :D It's funny how I always wonder what happens next!

The pictures go from monk in a serious state of smiling meditation, then the Tom Selleck Magnum P.I. look-alike, and then the Chevy Chase Groundhog Day with the hedgehogs and groundhogs! There, I gave you a smile back, Reg...be well.
