In the world of books and publishing. Do you ever feel as though you're a needle in a haystack where your hard work is concerned? I DO! It is somewhat overwhelming when you take a step back and really, really look at the big picture. And then you get your copy of Writer's Digest, read all the tips and advice and you really feel small and insignificant then. In spite of that, I continue to churn out what I believe is good fiction. I feel good about my stories. I believe in them. It is somewhat difficult to make your work noticed. I continue to pay out money for different things in order to get my work noticed. A webpage...a USFreeAd...belonging to Author's Den and becoming a Gold Member instead of a Silver Member...buying Writer's Digest Magazine...Writer's Market and other books...buying my own books...and so on. The royalty statements for my two books in due today. I actually dread to open the envelope. It is disappointing to see your work dismissed so easily. The books are offered in so many online bookstores the world over!! There are gazillions of readers out there in our world. I simply refuse to believe that my two books are not being sold to somebody. At any rate, I will continue until I'm not longer the lost needle. I believe my books will be noticed in spite of the odds.
