Sadness continues... Yesterday, the last day of September brought more sad news. Jimmie Mullen's wife, Dorothy, is critically ill in the hospital. Dor, as I always called her, isn't expected to live. I am so sad. But I am also hopeful that a miracle might come through for her. She's a very special lady. We used to have the greatest times at the YWCA. Our times at the YMCA wasn't as fun. We had some differences there, some of which I never understood and still don't. We used to go to work together in my old 76 Pinto that would be okay one day and not the next. We always stopped in at Albertsons before going to work. Dor always bought the tabloids to read. She is crazy about Elvis and Lucy. I don't know what I will do without Dor if she leaves us. I don't know what her family will do. It's too soon after Jimmie. Sometimes life just sucks. Get well for us, Dor. We love you and need you.
