Struggling To Make A Mark In The Publishing World 10/20/2007 2:27:38 PM
To others with the same problem. I order the postcards, create the websites, hack away at this idea or that idea and in the long run still feel stuck in the never ending clogged wheel of the publishing world. Do you realize how hard it is to be noticed? You gotta have a catchy title...you gotta have the creative juices flowing ALL the time. You gotta get your name out there. And still it's not an easy process. A lot of writers do it for just the money. Some do it for the name and recognition. Still others do it because they love to write. All three combined isn't a sin! So how do the really famous people get noticed? Is it just dumb luck or what? Honestly, I am still trying to figure that out. I have two websites for my books, one website to help out fellow authors. Trouble is, I got into an argument with Publish America, where I posted about these things, and now it seems I am ignored. That is unfortunate. But I will have my say, by Golly, and what I said was only the truth. If anybody out there reads this, please visit the website and blog your heart out.
