What color are you? - by: Linda Law 5/29/2009 7:30:36 PMRecently I wrote a poem "CRAYOLA BOX" Colors of Who I am, and challenged AD members to write a poem about what they believe to be a color (or more than one) that describes YOU! If I receive 10 or more challenges, I will select one and send you a PRIZE to be determined later ?? Because someone on the phone asked me "What color are you?" I thought they meant RACE...then I had to smile, because I took a few seconds, and then said...EVERYTHING IN THE BOX OF CRAYOLA CRAYONS! The man started to laugh at me, and said..."Guess that told me!"... So, I gave it more thought and began writing, but couldn't decide on one color, because life is in color to me...events, places, sadness, loss, birth, hungry, and so on... I also think of food when I write, because Food represents good things to me...which is why I am not skinny...:-))
