A Trip to the Groomers I just got back from dropping Bood at the groomers. He looks like a giant Swiffer duster and I need one to clean up the piles of dog hair they all shed. When I told my groomer about the book and gave her a postcard, she seemed interested. I went on to tell her I had used her business as a spot in the book just changed the name to Bonnie's Barnyard. I changed Boudreaux's name too.
Her eyes lit up when I explained all of this and she wants to sell the book out of her shop. Now, that is small town hospitality for you! She is a natural with dogs. My best friend uses her so I did the same. Furry friends can make the best of friends and open doors for fledgling writers like me. Now, if I could only teach them to read or write reviews.
