Slicing and dicing text and peaches. Early yesterday morning, I began my email to my editors. This note is to be limited to 5 pages and contains all the tweaks to my book. As of now my book itself is 177 pages with 20 pictures. I began rereading and typing in minor changes, things like use "by" for "bye" in second paragraph on page 117. After about 3 hours of this task, I went downstairs to check the bushel of peaches I had spread out on a plastic tablecloth over the old wrought iron bed. They were ripe! So, in a whirlwind, I scalded, peeled and put up for freezing these fragrant gems. After you dip them in boiling water and skin them, they feel like a warm peeled hard boiled egg in your hand. It was sensational and unbelievably tiring. My GNC vitamins had to carry me through. Later that afternoon, I finished my last edit. Like the peaches, my stories were now processed and ready to be tasted. ALL ROADS LEAD TO HAZARD promises to be real as a bowl of homemade cobbler. Hope you agree.
