It's A Real Puzzle!

We are all pieces in a wonderful puzzle;
the complete picture is always there, and will eventually show itself.
God doesn't give up on us; we are all irreplaceable pieces.
Completing another jigsaw puzzle had me feeling guilty about the amount of time that I've spent in total concentration on an activity that has no productive material value–although it may possibly be improving my cognitive skills? It made me think about that missing puzzle piece, that was always there, just not fitting where I, in my wisdom and smugness, was sure it was supposed to go. We too are complicated pieces with colours that we don't realize that we possess. That piece that I tried to place in so many logical places was patiently sighing as I moved it from place to place, jamming it in stubbornly, thinking that it was just an error on the part of the puzzle maker.
All done, the puzzle completed, I took a picture of my accomplishment, and then mercilessly tore it all apart and put it back in its box—and guiltily looked at the next one on the shelf beckoning to me with a challenge,
Puzzle me this,
If you think that you can,
Where do you fit
In the Maker's great plan?
As you move here and there
Unsure of your place,
Trying so hard just to find the right space;
Repeating old moves,
In the hope that, this time,
You will reach the true home
That was there all the time;
When your faith stretches out,
When your path is in doubt,
Be still and give thanks
To the guide, and to the value
In the journey he has led you on;
The colours in the world,
In your fellow travellers,
create a beautiful mosaic
That may move and change,
But in the end, become one—
Completing life's great puzzle
