Blogs by Dyanne Davis Moving On 8/18/2006 2:08:38 AMYesterday was my last day to serve jury duty. I called in last night and today I don't have to go. I met a lot of very interesting and nice people there. There were a couple of tall guys that changed the channel for me when I asked. Yes, they had a televison to show us a video tape restating our civic duty as a juror. After a time on the first day I figured the televison could be used to entertain us so I asked a tall gentleman to turn the volume up and to change the channel.(since the guard?) had the remote control in his pocket. There were about 100 people in the room and if any of them objected they didn't say so out loud. We finished up yesterday by watching Jduge Judy. I love her and thought since we were in the courthouse what better way to spend our time. We laughed when we were discharged and wished each other well and hoped that we didn't have to see each other today. The guard told us most of us wouldn't have to return today but we still had to call. The next time I'm called I will try to do my duty withut the complaints. LOL
