A Night of Reality TV...Real War 5/20/2005 8:32:18 PM
This took place the night the
war started in Iraq,
This took place the night the war
started in Iraq, I was having an
IM converstation while checking out
the poetry boards, and had TV on mute,
but glanced every so often, periodically
turning the sound up.

Last night I sat and had a chat with
a friend on IM, also watched a new
TV show it was live, War on the go
the setting was most surreal as we
spoke, watching missiles shot from
ships into Iraq, while news anchors
gave their spin on what they thought
was happening~our mood was sort of
dazed to realize we could nonchalantly
sit at our computer chatting away
seeing bombs raise all kinds of hell
while discussing a war in progress
watching it begin as if it was a
realityTV event~A live Horror show

I admit this morning I feel like I'm
in a world gone insane and inane with
technology that I believe will be our
downfall~ to have reporters telling our
enemy every move our military is making
so that we can watch ourselves being
made fools of by our own media for
the sake of their need to fuel their
power ~this is neither necessary or
sane, watching a war is one thing,
giving our enemy all that information
is too sick too comprehend~
This world has become inured to all things
by it's own High Tech progress, and we are
now victims of such overwhelming information
that it caused our senses to become surfeit
so that nothing offends. I plan to spend
the greater part of my remaining time here,
in the company of the eternal celestial
community where I may be able to learn
something of value to share with this society
that will hopefully initiate a return to a
renewal of common sense in the remaining time
that I'm here on this Earth
Seeing now the politicians of both sides like
gossip mongers spreading lies and innuendo about everything and anything.It has become a hodgepodge
of insanity and a cauldron of hate. Our own press
and media starting riots as if the muslims didn't
hate us enough you have to tell them we burned their Koran, and show pictures of Sadam in his shorts. Like
that is worse than 9/11 and all the beheading atrocities that they have done on us. I can't watch anymore It's
gone beyond insanity to some place I never knew existed. Folks we'd better get a grip on reality, this is becoming anightmare...
