Feelings of Love, and Wisdom-versus-Knowledge

But that would also mean that mankind's darkest hate-riddled feelings and emotions would reside there, too. A chilling thought.

Ed has a point, and it is a chilling thought, but we've heard the expression: "mean spirited" I think spirit can go either way, depending where our thoughts, beliefs, and faith, reside. But I think feelings come from knowledge. If we didn't know evil, we wouldn't feel fear. If we didn't know goodness, we wouldn't feel love. And it stands to reason, that if we had never known closeness, friendship,
love, we wouldn't know their absence, and consequently we wouldn't miss them. Just my thoughts on the subject. Carmen :-)

My thoughts on these answers:

when negative, it depletes our spirit.
Carmen, You make a good point. I understand what you're saying, in other words everything is a learned experience and without knowledge of these experiences we wouldn't feel them. However....If feelings come from knowledge:
As one example, How then do we answer what Hellen keller felt, without any knowledge to begin with. It's been written that she acted like an animal. What caused her to act like that? She didn't have any prior knowledge that told her to eat like a starved angry animal, or strike out at everyone, or have tantrums. Where did all that hate come
from? Hate is an emotion that is within us.That is where our "mean spirited" comes from.
The duality of the good/bad syndrome is within us. So is the ability to choose which spirit we will give reign to.
What turned Hellen around to become the splendid person she
became? Yes, there was some knowledge, but mostly it was the spirit within her that responded to love.This was her own assessment.That love, is the God/love which arouses the good spirit within us. We need no knowledge to know this spirit, for God can flow through us to arouse our spirit without our having learned one thing.
These are the core feelings I'm trying to expose as the reasons behind why we "miss" those we love. I see it as more a spiritual than a learned thing. Knowledge is very important to live in this world, but wisdom is a gift from God, and without it, all the knowledge in the world cannot bring us love nor make us happy.
Love through knowledge is prone to being dissolved. Love through the spirit, is everlasting. Knowledge is sought in the world like an idol. Wisdom cannot be sought it is a gift from God, which is why poor illiterate people can be so filled with the Spirit to make us be in awe of their attitudes, under such conditions. Martyr's stories too, have given credence to the spirit without any worldly knowledge.
I am not demeaning knowledge, I would never have studied what I have if I didn't respect it! I just think it should be put in its rightful place, second to wisdom! This is Creator's own preferrence.

I think the answers will be centered in each of our beliefs. My belief is that the deepest truths are those that come through on telepathic wave lengths. We all posess energy and we have the ability to both project and receive it. Within our being, we know the truth and if we take the time to listen to it and act from it, we will save ourselves and others a lot of grief. Telepathic communication of thoughts and emotions are the most pure perceptions we can experience. OK that's my take"

"There was scientific tests done a few years back that proved that the heart actually has memory of its own apart and seperate from the brain.
I don't know what they have found out since then but I imagine that if the heart can remember seperate from the brain then other parts of us probably can too.Perhaps the memories of ancestors do get passed onto children and great grandkids and so on.Perhaps when we miss someones touch(like a person we have not actually met)on our life it is because we recognise their thoughts or ideas from long ago,even if we can't pin point it in this life perhaps something in us remembers them from before.You know,that feeling you sometimes get when you think you know someone but you've just met them and you like them right away?or the other way round,you get frightened of them right away even before they speak...de ja vous...have we all been here before?I don't know. "

I agree with both Kay and Sherry.
First Sherry I believe in telepathic communication I've been using it for years. However, I don't think it negates the Spirit. It is my belief that the spirit is the one that enables us to use this kind of communication and in fact it would not be possible without Creator's authority.
Kay, I believe there was no conclusive finding in that study. Except for the fact that the heart knows what it needs to perform its amazing work as the pump that the blood goes through. It does have that kind of knowledge which I believe God wrote into the blueprint, in order for it to function as well as it does. It is the same with all of our organs, they have specific feats to accomplish. This is part of what separates our Creation belief, from the "Big Bang" theory.
In conclusion if I seem to be saying Creator is responsible for everything, that's because He is!;-) There is no way we could have the feelings we have without some intelligence, having written the blueprint for it! Sorry if that disturbs anyone, I have my opinions and everyone is entitled to theirs. If they have a rebuttal, email me and I'll put it on this blog.
