How do you treat your memories?

don't shortchange them!...
I hold fast to precious memories
I nourish them within my being
I delight in thoughts of love that
Refuses to be diminished by time
My heart embraces all relationships
Whether good or bad, they were had
I don't deny pain but put it in its place
There is a place for everything
I look at the joy of friendships
Past, present ,and hopefully, future
I choose to ignore the negativity of some
While savoring with relish the positive
Each memory is unique and welcome
I have found it wise to befriend them all
What better way to learn from mistakes
When relationships are broken or need repair
I always leave the door open for renewal
Memories of all kinds have helped me to do this
I treat memories kindly, I may lose them one day
