Past abuses part two

I did a virus check this morning

A follow up to my last blog, Just because
I don't write about past abuses, doesn't
mean I never had any. My feeling , to put
it succinctly is, why keep writing about
something I already gave to the Lord,
that He took,and gave me peace about.

I did a virus check this morning. There
were a number of infected files found,
trojan horses etc.They were classified
embedded. So I moved them as the program
says, to the virus vault.

I had the thought that this is a great
analogy for my theory. So here it is:

We all have pasts, and scars ranging from
few to many. We all have to deal with these
memories, they can't just be ignored. How we
deal with them is the key. Here is my premise.

For the sake of clarity, I'm using a figure for
us all, you may have more or less, but you
get the idea.

Say we have 100,000 files to be scanned
When the scan is done there are some
infected files healed, some removed and
some are embedded. The embedded ones
have to go to the virus vault where they
supposedly are kept away from infecting
anything,like being in quaratine.

Now picture this, we all have personal files
of various hurts and abuses done to us in
the past. Regardless of who what when and
where. Some of them we are able to heal,
some are forgotten, some are so embedded
they must be quarantined so we don't stay
infected by them.

As an analogy if you have 100,000
files and only 10,000- 20,000 are in the
virus vault, why would you want to keep
remembering, reliving ,talking or writing
only the bad 20,000 as opposed to
the good 70,000?

Why would you continuously disrupt your life
on embedded files that cannot be removed,but
are in a minority to the wonderful files that
can give you joy and freedom from past miseries.
Plus the ability to make even better files
in the future?

Is it possible you don't have enough good
files, because you concentrate so much on the
bad ones, you are unable to make many good ones?

Think about it!
